A new beginning..

Hello, my dear friends!

In July, we had a vacation, during which I had the opportunity to visit my parents in Kazakhstan. Although the road there was a challenge for me, but I felt God's care so many times.

I was very happy to spend time with my family, because I had not seen them for 1.5 years. It is very noticeable how God grows mom, changes her life and views. We had a lot of conversations with her, talked about the sacrifice of Christ, about His love, forgiveness and about many other things. I was inspired by her in some areas of life, and that encouraged me to think what I need to improve.

When I arrived, my father was undergoing another round of chemotherapy, unfortunately, his condition was not very good most days. Despite this, I thank God that I was able to see him at all and can support him a little. Although it was difficult for me. Please pray for his healing and salvation.

Discipleship

And again good news, I returned to Ukraine, and managed to get to the Baptism of my student Lera. I told you a lot about her in previous letters. Throughout the summer, she was actively involved in student ministry directed by our volunteer leadership team, and she also went to camp for the first time as a teen mentor.

And that's not all. The boy Zakhar, who came to our Campus in the winter, having registered for the Who I am project, and having heard about Christ there from our staff, wanted to continue having meetings and explore Christianity more deeply. In the summer, he finished his bachelor's degree at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and is currently preparing for admission to the master's degree. But most importantly, he made a decision to follow Christ and make a covenant with God through water baptism! For me, this story is a miracle, how quickly God spoke to Zakhar's heart and filled it with love.

Zakhar talks about his path:
"I wanted to follow Jesus after the first or second meeting with Andriy from Campus. After one meeting, I thought a lot about my life and what I had done in it and at some point I just started asking for forgiveness. Then I was carried away)) And at the end of the confession to the Lord , peace and tranquility came. The campus helped to pass the winter and the period of uncertainty, meet many cool students and acquire new brothers and sisters."

Odesa

I am so grateful to everyone who prayed for my move! Because it was actually a challenge for me, especially a week before my departure from Kyiv, I fully realized what was happening. And I had certain experiences, fears, sadness for such a native Kyiv, my friends here and ministry with a team of people close to me. However, thank God, upon my arrival in Odessa, I was met by my new leader and took maximum care of my adaptation in a new city for me, because of this I once again felt how God can show us his love through other people. A few days later, with a co-worker who moved from Lviv, we managed to find and rent an apartment in the area we needed, it was an answer to our prayers. Then there was the planning of the new semester, a lot of work. We started from scratch, formed a vision, set goals for the year, thought about involving volunteers. We understand that few days for planning is not enough in our context, so we will continue. Please support us in prayer so that God will guide us in this process🙏
