Hello, dear freands !

The first week of the new year we had a vacation to rest a little and miss the ministry. It was a valuable time for me, I could read a lot, talk to those I hadn't heard from in a long time and just enjoy the peace.

Then began the phase of service to our students, where our volunteers took the key role, and we simply supported them in this and helped them. Because all staff had time to work for the development of our ministry. It is nice to see how volunteers take responsibility, prepare Bible study groups, Worship evening do advertising, organize leisure activities and become real leaders. Our ministry can’t go on  for a long run without our disciples Together with them, we can expand the circle of influence and go to the end of the earth))

study at UETS

We started the third week of January with training at the UETS Theological Seminary. This is a mandatory period for every member of our mission, and indeed a very blessed one. We reviewed the Old (First) Testament, or rather the Pentateuch, and look at Joshua and the book of Judges a little. It was a useful time for me and an opportunity to reevaluate myself and my ministry.

Ukraine for Christ

After the end of the next day, we went to the Carpathians for a winter project for our non-believing students. We lived there for 3 whole days, talked a lot, cooked together, taught students to ski and held discussion clubs on the topics of "Happiness", "Friendship", "Relationships with parents" and "Challenges in life". In these groups, we could talk deeply, share our thoughts and Christian values. In some groups, students sincerely said that there were tears, laughter, and support.

Winter project for students

At the end of the project, we had a common topic about Hope, where we could tell that our greatest hope in life is Christ.

Such projects can greatly affect someone's life, because on them you can practically see how we react to different situations, feel like a part of the family and maybe open up too✨

Nastya

Among them was student Nastya, with whom I have a meeting on Step Up. We met her through the WHO I AM project, where she shared that she suffers from an eating disorder. For a long time she was afraid to come to our general ivents, but we had private meetings where we talked a lot about Christianity and the problem of sin. It was a surprise for me when Nastya agreed to go with us to the winter project. Now she already feels comfortable in motion. Please pray for her meeting with Christ🙏

Now, as a team, we will plan the new semester. We pray that God will guide us in this and give us a vision of how to serve the students, responding to their needs.

Also, in the last letter, I talked about the gifts we collected for children who suffered from the war. The gifts are already with their little owners, I want to share a photo with you :
